NET (Narrative exposure therapy)

ISTDP (intensive short term psychodynamic).

 

I am using elements of different techniques according to your needs and nature of the problem.

Couple/ relationship therapy

Therapy can be beneficial for couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Together we will look for a way to find the connection between you again. 

Trauma & PTSD

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. I am trained in EMDR, NET (narrative exposure therapy), IE (imaginary exposure).

Relocation/ migration and cultural difficulties

Migration/relocation can be difficult to most of the people. It brings up questions about identity, status, life goals, self fulfillment, feeling of not belonging and many other worries and doubts. It is important to talk about it and give it a place, chase away the fog and find the direction you need to focus on, while adjusting to a very new situation in your life. I can help you!

LGBT

Gay, lesbian, b-sexual and transgender individuals might experience difficulties accepting themselves, getting out and free out of the "closet" due to beliefs, painful experiences from the surrounding, and painful life events. I can help you overcome these hurtful feelings and learn to accept yourself and live your life freely.

Low self esteem

Not being happy with who you are and what you are? Thinking too often negative of yourself? Often feeling not good enough and not loved? These are some of the indicators suggesting that you might suffer from low self esteem- it can change and you have the right to feel good about yourself. We can make that happen!

Anxiety
