My name is Adina Gili van Ewijk and I am a registered health care (clinical) psychologist (GZ psychologist) in both Israel and the Netherlands and registered senior schema therapist.
I was born in Israel, there I did my first degree in Criminology (BA). Then I moved to the Netherlands and obtained my Master degree in clinical psychology (MSc) at Leiden university. Afterwards I did the post master education which gives a full registration as independent psychologist (GZ).
Currently I am in training as a psychotherapist.
In the beginning of my career I worked several years in the forensic field, later on I did the transition to work within the intercultural psychiatry.
In the past 13 years I have practiced working as a psychologist in different domains: relationship therapy, trauma therapy, immigration culture and relocation, low self esteem, crisis in life, LGBT and anxiety.
My work is my passion, I feel honored to have the right to help people and I believe we all deserve to be happy in our lives.
My attitude as a therapist is open, honest, accepting and empathizing.
I believe that wounds can get healed when having good connection where the other feels safe and protected.
I treat speakers of: English, Dutch and Hebrew.
